That's cool isn't it. Get the little one interested soon. I did the same thing and now I have apassenger forever. My son rides with me more than my wife does. He just loves it. I think one day me and him will take some long rides together. He 8 now so I've got a few years but, they will be here before you know it.

 

Toby I live in a Mass. How much $ to cover it in leather. Also didthe leatherfeel them same as before or better..

how difficult was it to find a crimson red sunglo? Was it at a dealership already or did you order it. Around here can't seem to even get a chance to see one and most dealerships when they get one in are marking up the crimson red sunglo by $2,000 over msrp because of the demand for the color. And their still selling only after a day or 2 on the floor. I have one on order just curious is all.

 

Leesburg, FL has one on the floor. Salesman said that they have a specific time period that they can make changes to the bikes that are coming in (i.e. color, factory options, etc...). So, that means if they have a black Street Glide coming in and you want a Crimson one, they can change it if you are willing to wait for a few weeks.

Well it turns out that the dealer I called on a Friday had 4 SGs in stock, 1 Black, 1 Blue Denim, 1 Annivers, and 1 Red Sunglo. The next day, Saturday I got there around noon. All were sold except for the Crimson Red. I had to throw a $500.00 deposit in the lap of the salesman because someone was eyeing it while I was sitting at his desk. The Crimson Red cost me $600 more (standard markup) than the black.

Love the sprinkles in the paint in the sun and under the street lights at night.

 

I just got a red crimson SG last weekend. Stealer sold me the bike at list no freight or prep. In fact the bike had spokes which I did not want took them off to put cast on and subtracted the 450 of the price. Any parts at time of purchase were 20% off as well. I took advantage of that added all most $10k in extras. He is delivering the bike to me this Monday with most everything installed minus the pipes and SERT which I will have installed at the 1k service. This bike also has ABS and security as well as cruise. I will post pics next week after it is delivered to me on Monday. I guess there are a few good stealers left out there if you look hard enough!
