Maybe for the purposes of the implied thread specialization you should specify Alpha nomenclature to id models. Might help prevent confusion and controversy.

 

Just picked her up last night, couldn't turn down the 2.99% HD is offering until the end of July...traded in my hot rod FXDWG3 ( 95" 108hp)

The 103 Stage II/SERT /SE- slip-ons go on next week along with heated grips ( yeah I know I don't need them now , but it gets them under warranty) and braided stainless brake lines... it's a start

Nice ride thats going to make you smile all summer, I wondered about heated grips, do they really help?

 

This thread really makes me wanna go get my SG before I get the V-rod paid off in 11 months...

Re: Heated grips .. oh yes .. I rode with a bunch of friends lat October last year up in Maggie Valley, many had them .. it was 29 degrees I can barely pull in my brake/clutch and these guys are smilin away with toasties digits. After growing up in Alaska and having frostbitten fingers too many times , my old hands are real suscpetible to cold weather... the arthritis doesn't help either.

Holy Crapp!! What a bike...this is my first Harley and I'm in love. I still run down to the garage and just look at it at night. I have wanted a Harley for so long and 2 weeks ago, me and the wife went down to "just look"[sm=badbadbad.gif]. We walked in the front door and shel looked at me and said: if you want your bike you can get it today. I'm still in shock. My wife rocks!!! I love this forum too.

 

I've got about 50K miles on two Harleys since 2003 and I still stand in the garage and stare at mine Nice SG btw.
