New to the site, here is my 07 FLHX, pretty much stock so far. Collecting bikes now and this is my 3rd (but first HD). Also collecting 1961 Redheads!

 

Hey, I'm a streetglide fan, But that 1961 is a really smokin' ride!

 

Question for you guys if you don't mind. The glide is awesome and I plan on purchasing one. I have never bought new from a HD dealer before. Every dealer I visit gives me "we go by the prices in the harley book" when I ask them how much $. Can anyone out there give me a realistic number to get the bike out of the showroom, tax, title, etc, etc? Whether or not you had major $$ for tweaks, etc. For 06 or 07 models.

I've been holding back for a while now because I have been so busy and I can't fit another bike in the garage until I clean it but I think this weekend is gonna be it. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

every where i checked this spring it was list price. but they said we don't charge over MSRP. i thought like i was gonna pay more than MSRP. but the right dealer will throw in the set up charges, freight, labor on the installation of accessories and give up 10-20 % on the adds. then figure your local sales tax and licence for your area.
and my dealer witch i think all dealers will include anything you install when purchasing the bike, will fall under the 2 year warranty.
ie heated grips (quite often don't last two years).

Anyone help with the paint code or the colour description, picked it up and caught a huge stone chip on the way home on the front fairing........great start to ownership after my 05 Softtail.

Brilliant bike love riding it done 300 miles in three days, not much for the US but with UK weather and shorter
distances.
