Mine should be in before the 21st of this month. Can't f-ing wait!!

Yeah, but Harley hasn't finished mine yet. I promise I'll post the pics as soon as they give me my bike.

 

I have 95 miles and no trany noise...and dont want any!

 

The dealer told me to ride about 2k rpm. I noticed that it lugged lower than that. I have thought not to use 6th unless Im over 60-65 mph. The gear ratio on the 6 is different than on the 5, so I find my self going fast just to get to 5th. The book says shift to 6th at 55, and I dont think so! The motor feels strong in all gears, but its just an adjustment from a 5. I am also getting the stage 1, and new pipes after they catch up with 2007, and a map. Then it all changes...I like to shift to the sound of the motor..cant really do that with the stock pipes.

 

Dude go with the 2007. It has a bigger motor, 6 speed, and its only $800 more than 2006 MSRP.

 

Fastaire.com has some nice wind shields,same as you said, and nice price.

 

I would take some time off work and get a good ride to somewhere. Put more miles on her..I am.

 

The new 96in motor is the same as the 88in twin cam...with 700 new parts that they thought needed improved. I think the the motor will do fine.
