It was originally quick detach. But since I never took it off, and it developed a rattling problem, I just rounded up all the standard HD tourpak mount parts on ebay to make it permanently mounted. Sold the detach stuff, spent the $150.00 difference on other things. Getting that damn SG license plate bracket off the turn signals was about a pain in the *** Ill tell you.
