Hi Guys,

Just picked up my first Harley Davidson last weekend and am very pleased with the Street Glide; had the dealer install the Comfort Heated Grips....if you ride in weather like I do (New England) you'll love them. My previous bike was a BMW 1150GS which came standard with heated grips and I never knew I needed them until I had them. The control is on the left hand side grip on the end of the bar. I need a taller screen and to install the detachable passenger backrest....to start!

Thank you,

Chris

Welcome Chris,

What's the significance of the dog on the cover?

It's just a Newfoundland breed sticker; Daisy is close to 4 years old and we're lucky to have her. Here she is waiting to go for a ride...good times!

Good lord thats a big dog!

Heated Grips. You know this past weekend I thought about this. Cold Morning Start off's. How are the grips just for regular riding? Comfortable? Vibrations?

Daisy is actually on the smaller side for a Newfoundland; males get to be close to 200lbs. Great dogs though, very friendly, great with kids, other pets, etc...but born to drool!

This is my first Harley and I had the grips put on before I took delivery of the bike so I can't really compare them but they feel great and I don't feel any excessive vibration through them...there are 6 temp settings on the left hand grip, easy to adjust on the fly and I wouldn't have a bike without them....great for mornings and evenings.

Hope that helps,

Chris

Ok here is mine the first day home. The dealer installed the driving lights, and the freedom wing air deflectors. A few things have been added sense this, but this was also just 4 days ago too.

Come on Spring Weather.

HD Renegade, Beautiful Bike Sir!

This is my first post.

I'm picking up my New Street next Monday . . . Big Deep Breath . . . I can barely stand it.

After seeing your pics, I think I'd like to have the light bar installed as well. It really looks good. And I'll bet the extra visability won't hurt either. I've been wondering about the Cruise Control Kit . . . Anyone have it installed? Is it worth it?

Thanks,

PoleCat
