AtLast great looking Streeter ( partial to Color), Thanks forposting photos, gives me an idea as to what minewill look like in a fewweeks (sic). Forge-Tech Wheels on ordersimilar to those (who are they made by?) so the look will be very close to yours. Two weekson orderquoted 4-5.Keep the stock fender in MHO. Hey XXX waiting for your report on the Race-Tech lowering kit, i am as anxious as you are.
I should be able to post a pic and an early report on the Race Tech no later than Thursday this week. My wheels and rotorsfrom RC were supposed to take 3-4 weeks and it took 7, but I was told that the contrast cut wheels take longer..so whatever...at least they are here now and do look great. I just can't wait to get em on!

Vance & Hines big shots, had the pipes coated by jet hot and my heat shields powder coated gloss black. Wanted the gloss black to last.

found a good priced ($25), pretty decent looking solution to the saddlebag reflectors today at the stealer. they are from drag specialties, solid aluminum, chromed, with black accent lines. not a lot you can do in such a small space any way, but look way better than the reflectors.

your chit is looking good izzi...

dontcha just hate the reflectors on the bag latches though?
i gotta pull mine off soon
An easy alternative is to paint the reflectors. you just dust it with black. That way you blend them in but still have the reflector function.

Or spray them with a couple of coats of Niteshades tint followed by a few coats of clear.

Just rode it home from the dealers yesterday(02/25/08). 10 miles in 35 degree temperature and was warm. Love the fairing and the heated grips!
