Belonging To Both Groups

I cannot speak about any local situations, but the Patriot Guard is an umbrella group, not a club, assoc, or otherwise and we have over 100 motorcycle organizations that have ridden with us, so as a general policy as long as you honor our solders and follow the guidelines set forth by the RC on a mission, shouldn't matter whose patches you are wearing.

Thanks for all of your assistance gentlemen. After learning tonight that a local serviceman, who I believe I taught at our county's Fire Academy when he trained to be a firefighter, was killed in action in the last few days.
I figured it's time to stop thinking about it and to make it happen. Hope to see the local guys soon

I agree that the PGR is not a motorcycle club, motorcycle association, or anything even close. In fact you can sign up to become a member on-line and you don't even need to own or ride a motorcycle.
It is (like someone else mentioned) a "umbrella group of individuals" that are like minded and want to do what they can to honor our fallen soldiers. It's a noble cause and the PGR does a very good job based on their Mission Statement.
There should not be any issue with members of any MC, Association or Organization also becoming a member of the PGR (and many are)..
