I have to say I'm in the no Phelps patch crowd if for no other reason than my desire to make them irrelevant. We make them irrelevant at funerals, we do our best to get the media to ignore them so why give them free advertising on our chests?

A group of hackers have even taken their web sites down and although I don't condone illegal acts, I have to admit it was pretty funny because it happened while Shirley Roper was on a podcast show telling the hackers to bring it on....lol. So they did.

 

There are two patches that I'm aware of that do poke fun at them without mentioning their names. In two different interviews, Shirley Phelps called the Patriot Guard "Scooter Sissies", and referred to women PGR members as "Moped Mamas."

The patches say, "Scooter Sissy and Proud of It," and "I'm a Moped Mama".

 

To be blunt, I wouldn't wipe my backside with a patch bearing his name, much less wear one.....

 

I'm with you guys. Phelps and his inbred ilk are not worth the space for a patch nor the air that they breathe.
