Yes, it's a nationwide organization. Over 160,000 members. I've been on missions in OH, but they were in Cincinnati and Youngstown. I'm sure there are plenty of members in your area of OH.
Shu, the Sporty Moderator here is an OH member. I've only briefly met the OH State Captain once, but he seemed like a good guy. Just check out at the website on my previous post.

Or you might want to check with the WV group. I know the WV State Captain, Joe Cumblidge, as he use to work here at my plant, and I know they do missions down your way also. Here's the WV site: http://www.wvpatriotguard.org/Honor_Missions.html
I've thought about joining. Maybe we'll be able to hook up for a ride sometime there neighbor, (I'm at work just up the river in New Martinsville).

I think I should clear something up here. The PGR doesn't have "chapters" It is not a motorcycle club. No borders in the PGR. Each State is run under the discression of the State Captain, but within the boundaries of National.
It is a Nationwide organization, that does have State Captains, and usually some type of geographical leadership structure, but that's just for organizational purposes. It's all just one big family. For example, I've been the "Ride Captain in Charge" for missions all over Tennessee, and even a few times in other states, when they didn't have a local Ride Captain to cover the mission. We all pitch in, when and where ever we can.
Sorry, if that seems like a bit of an over reaction here, but it's VERY important that we not be mistaken as a "motorcycle club".
