Patriot Guard Riders

Proud to be a member
My husband and I are both Patriot Guard Riders. We aren't always able to go, as we both work, but we've been very humbled by the ones that we have participated in. Last year, we were escorts for three buses full of National Guard coming home from Iraq. Had our flags waving on our bikes and we were totally blown away by the support of the community. Went through four towns before getting to our destination, and in every town, people were lining the streets with flags and welcome home signs and more motorcycles joined our line. By the time we got to Albany, Oregon, we must have had 300+ riders and a HUGE welcome home event at the city park. Watching those men and women coming off those buses to greet their families was a sight that will stay with me the rest of my life.
I am very honored to be a PGR and welcome aboard.

Welcome Aboard.
Good to have you, I am active duty as well as a member, unfortunately I don't get to attend all of the events since alot of them are during the day on a weekday, but the ones I have been to made me proud to be a member as well as active duty, it is always sweet to welcome home a brother regardless of what branch.
