I was never a fan of apes, and the law in Ohio is still 15" above the lowest seat level (which means that with my bike slammed, low profile solo seat, and 8" risers on the drag bars, MINE may not even be legal here)...but glad to hear that any biker, ANYwhere, is getting more personal choices in how he rides...

YES it was !!!
So, for those of you who haven't, JOIN !!!!!
You don't necessarily have to like anybody there. But your $$$ goes to fight for your ability to ride unencumbered.
We finally 'beat' the handlebar thing here a few years back.
Reality just does not coincide with the "original" fear based mongering.
MOST of those 'laws' were designed to target a certain 'group' of motorcyclists, BACK THEN, not 'safety' as so many "proclaim".
Turns out, some of those who pass and enforce those 'archaic laws', find themselves subjected to those 'archaic laws', and change 'em, like shoulda happened, years ago.
Good on ya, Indiana !!!!!!!!!!
