A Happy New Year to all! We've put on the heated gear and have ridden a bit the past couple days. Good to ride even if a bit chilly.

Here's to hoping the weather is a little dryer this year so we can all get a little more riding in!

Bill: Something you may or know about. It has been a tradition for many years for bikers to ride to Buckner's Family Restaurant to eat lunch on new year's day. They seat eight to a table and place bowls of food on a giant lazy susan and everyone helps themselves. They keep replacing the bowls as they get empty. Really good food.

The Great South HOG left Newnan with 48 bikes and 54 riders to ride to Buckner's. Parking lot was full of bikers and bikes. Good tradition. Try it next year or ride down on a weekend to eat there. They are just off of I-75 where Hwy 36 intersects.

 

A couple of good rides already this year....I was surprised by how many bikes were out on New Years Day in the Jasper area, greet to see a strong showing of HDs on Hwy 53
