Was car 3 in a 5 car chain reaction of slamming on the brakes this morning 05 575 . Was a great way to start the day for sure, hopefully none of ya got stuck in the traffic. Spent 6 hours at the emergency room, nothing broken or torn! I am in alot of pain but have some Vicodin to keep me company for a day or so. Like I told the cop, I'm just glad I wasn't on the bike this morning!

I don't know what the back looked like, it was dark and cold out there. The bumper looked a little bent and the guy that hit me said he went under my bumper and thats what messed up the front end of his truck.

 

I hope this pain goes away so I can ride again soon, thats the worst part, well besides my truck won't be around for awhile and I will prolly be driving some compact POS!

 

MAN OH MAN, Johnny! I just got to this thread! Glad you weren't on the bike, and weren't hurt any more than you were! The truck will get fixed... people are infinitely more difficult and expensive... and some things can't be fixed...

Thats the funny part of it, I was 3 seconds behind the girl in front of me, traffic always goes from about 70-60 mph so I slowed down as usual, all of the sudden bam, we are on the brakes and no where to go! The guy that hit me says he has followed me almost every morning for a year and couldn't believe this finally happend. He noticed that I always slow down in this spot and keep alot of distance between me and the other cars.
