Luckily he did it in practice. We took a bit of a break after that and then he saddled up again and rode and passed the test. He got a round of applause afterwards.
I did the box u-turn in practice just fine. I touch my foot down once during the test. I was over thinking it to do it even better then I did in practice. Part of me would like to practice it even more, but I'd probably over think it again and eventually drop the bike.
A few of us were surprised that we didn't ride their bikes. After a few practices on the course I was glad I had mine and learned how to handle it better.
Oh, and our instructor Chris won the 2011 AHRMA World and National Middle Weight Superbike Champion at Daytona the other week.
Congratulations Michael!!!!! I knew you would do well. We missed you today, but you had a very worthy excuse!
See ya soon!!!!
Thanks! It's been a long day! Got up at 6 for the class, then headed out for dinner and to see an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band. They were pretty good. Watching all the drunk people was the best entertainment of the night though. Now, time for bed! I'm pooped. And yeah, it's going on 3 am. Thank god I'm so young that I can handle this kind of life.
PS, don't bother me tomorrow. I will be sleeping the day away. hehe
Congrats Michael on taking and passing the course. It will be a comfort to ride with a MC license. I don't believe you are suppose to ride on the super slabs without one and I am not sure but no passengers either??? Now no restrictions!

Thanks. I knew about no passengers, but I didn't know about the highways until the class!
