Awesome Lady Riders Day today!
Went on a wonderful 225 mile ride with my friend Judi today. Met her at the shop she was getting the oil changed on her Heritage, and off we went. Mostly all new territory for me once we got northeast. We rode through Judi's old stomping grounds in Gainesville then up to Cleveland, Lake Burton and finally into Clayton which is a pretty neat little mountain town.
Didn't run into any traffic except near Helen and we turned off there anyway. Took one totally awesome seemingly never ending twisty road, I think it was 197 up into Clayton. Can't say I've every seen the swiggly road sign and a 15MPH sign together before.
I'll tell you what, if you haven't been up that way, check it out. Some great riding to be had!
Perfect riding weather today, could take 6 months of this! Hope everyone had a great day.

Yeah, now that she has her oil changed, she has no more excuses! She is not a 9am rider though, so we headed out about 10:30
Totally agree, perfect riding day! know y'all had a blast too!

Glad you had a good time today, Carol. It was just TOO PRETTY not to ride! We had a great time doing the Mini Gauntlet today, too! Had one of the best burgers I can remember at Pappy's on 129 a few miles south of Blairsville, too! My stomach is STILL wondering "WTH?"
Really funny that you passed Michael on 369! What are the chances of that?
