I guess you learn something new every day. I had no idea that some people get their knickers in a knot over another persons post count. Does it really matter?

If you want to ban post counts then can't you just as easily not look at someones post count?

..... and men accuse women of complaining about stupid things. SMH

Why would you bother other than to build up your post count, why that matters is beyond me but whatever.

Not trying to be the forum police, but really 100 + posts a day?

Its almost like every thread is a roll call, "here I am with no real contribution to the subject but mark me down for another post"

If there was no post count, would they bother?
Well, I'll tell ya what. Back in the day when I was more active on here, I tried to welcome every new member that joined here and if you looked at our current membership, just think how many posts that I would have by now just welcoming new members. Some of us would start at the new member section and work our way down and try to reply to every thread that we could, it was our way of socializing or helping out our fellow members. Back in the day, this forum was much smaller and we were a closer knit group and since we all lived so far apart, this was our way of staying in contact with each other and many of us made some great friendships over time. As for having a life, yes I did. I worked 6-7 days a week supporting a family and also had time for being on here and also getting some riding in. My 05 Springer has a little over 72k on her, so you can tell by that I do ride and not just spend my time on here. Personally, my post count reflects the amount of fun that I have had on here since I joined in 05. There have been good times on here and not so good and some of the older members know of some of the bad times. As for what has been already stated, there are some that think that women are the only ones that comment about stupid things, interesting.

I was actually thought about saying that. It's my most used expression when someone is griping at work.
