Hoping all is going well with Russwood.
Speaking of coming out of it, anyone remember when they used ether to put you out?
I remember waking up, throwing up and passing back out again, then repeating several times.

Had surgery a few years back. As I was coming to, the attending nurse asked me to move my legs. I couldn't as she was leaning on them heavily. She then snapped at me to move them. I unleashed a stream of obscenities that would make a sailor blush. Drs. and wife all come running in to see what the problem was. The nurse says, "He woke up a little cranky." Which provoked another stream.
Not to scare Russ or anything ,he's probably out by now, a couple of years ago I had minor hernia surgery. I came out of anesthesia very badly (shaking uncontrollably ) ,ever sense then I have had ringing in my ears. Had I known that was going to happen , I would not of had it repaired !

I too don't come out of anesthesia very nicely. Last time I woke up swinging, almost punching the nurse. Then again, 10 ft of gauze up each nostrils isn't normal either.

Only been under once, I think it went well, lost a lot of blood so I really wasn't with it when I went under. 140 stitches and staples in the ole noodle and 20 years later I'm right as rain.

Morning, hope the surgery goes well for Russ. You never know what's going to happen at a VA hospital. He could go in for a new knee and come out with a sex change.
