My local grocery has some pics of the area around me from 50 years ago. Pretty neat to see what it looked like.

 

I bet ! Youre pretty centrally located and can be in some spectacular country in minutes !

 

It was some awesome riding. Have to be very cognizant of wildlife and loose livestock. Some parts of the road are not fenced therefore the cattle and horses are free range. They have cattle guards across the roads at the perimeters but inside the area it's game on! Had some deer standing in the middle of the road around one turn but they scattered pretty quick. Horses just off the side of the road in one spot. Wild turkey hanging out on the side too.
