TOAK-The Thread of All Knowledge-PeckerWoods IMC.
Markwood ... my wife "Red" was a rural carrier ( of mail, be nice ) for years. On a couple of occasions when the weather was extremely bad I'd drive her in my truck ( 4wd Chevy ) and you would be surprised at the variations in mailbox height. Some were so tall she'd have to stretch out the of the vehicle to open the door while others were so low that you'd have to drive past them and open the door of the truck to access the mailbox ... but in your case you'd think that a tape measure would be used to "verify" height ... Maybe it's international mail and they can't convert to metric???
No chirping, just an observation. The thoughtfulness of the TOAKERs is overwhelming.

Afternoon folks.
Just got a call from Mike and he says they are still about 3 hours out. It has warmed to about 61 here today and I'm gonna take off on the bike here soon and be in the area where we're to meet.
Here's hoping for some warmer weather for our more northern brothers, although we are not out of the woods here yet. Still have a few cold snaps to go before the heat really get's started.
