Rebar slab or post tension? Lots of PT slabs in the metro mess. Cheaper to do than a full rebar monolithic slab. Saves the builder quite a bit right off the bat.

How proud are they?? Details....
They're doing rebar. Looking at adding couple of porches and they wanted 13K for them covered.....

I said "Sweet Jesus it's a porch, not Cowboy's stadium!"

That's a very reasonable price for 400 sq ft. I don't do stuff that small unless I know the person. If you would have bought materials, and fed me, and oh, I don't know, maybe enjoy some nice Colorado smoke, I would have done it for free. Oh Yea!! Crown, would have needed some Crown too.

$1900 might have been cheaper!

All this concrete talk make me think of all the mud I want to pour but can't afford. Think I'll stick with KUB and work on getting plastered instead.

OK, you're not giving me sq footage, which means you're wanting some big a$$ porches.

FWIW, 13k would give you about 2,000 sq ft of porch if I was pouring it.

Plain concrete, not stamped and stained....

That was covered. I have a meeting with them tomorrow. I'm thinking about building myself to avoid the $103.00 per square foot price. I just have a hard time with that.
