Good quality but the rides stiff as hell on all the ones I've installed , ended up selling mine. Be very specific about the load weight, and your riding habits when you talk to someone at progressive about which shock style for your bike. there's several choices and not all are equal in actual road use.
Good on you for putting your kids first Tracy. It's amazing how many parents theses days can't figure out how to do that.

Looked at them Shotgun shocks once... went with progressives on my new softball....

When I do shocks they will be Works shocks. Like Twist said about Progressive shock you have to be specific. No thanks on air shocks.
Almost 140k on my stock shocks. Im sure they're still good.....

Laundry room sink faucet went bad,,,, what a PITA.... finally got it to seal up, solder joints I did were fine but the threaded parts were leaking....arrrrghhh!
