Got like 200 and some friends on Facebook( most I don't even know) and only like 3 on the forums. I guess I'm not a real biker.

Morning Mick. Yea, been posting from home latley (the last chemo tore my *** up) but I managed to pull my scruffy *** into work for a couple hours.

Headed to 29 palms tomorrow to see Isaac, taking down a couple boxes of goodies and going to take him shopping for civilian clothes (nothing fits him anymore).

Should be a great trip... Hope all is well on your end brutha.

Good news is that was your final chemo, right? Things are good here, about to load my Mrs. up on the bike and take a ride up Route 66 to a museum. You gonna ride to 29 Palms or drive? Funny how not much fits when you add about 20 lbs of muscle and lose your baby fat, huh? Speaking of shapely Marines....

I'm looking to buy a evo FLS right now. Maybe will do a "few things" to that one. I too like the roar and power when the throttle gets rolled, but prefer dependability.

I guess if I really wanted to go fast, I wouldn't be riding a Harley! LOL
True, but you can make a HD at least fun to ride, something the factory should be doing, 103 ci and under 70hp is pathetic in a motorcycle.

I run a 2012 Wide Glide, do little touring and mostly just day jaunts for a burger and back, maybe 100-150 miles total, but like to push the bike a bit, freeway entrances and a bit of curvey roads makes for a fun ride.
Understand it's not a sport bike, but stock performance wise it was boring.

2. Allen your profile says you are an HVAC tech. I was in the HVAC biz for over 20 years. Finally had to retire as a licensed Master Contractor/Tech in 2001 due to health issues
Worked in HVAC from about 1974 or so, ran my own AC business till I got tired of the erratic income and 80 hour days one week and 20 the next, went to the local gas supplier (minnegasco, than Centerpoint energy) in 1978 and was a service tech till about 1996 when I went on their help desk and pretended to know something till I retired in 20014.

fwiw here's what I did to the engine.

Forgive me, I'm old and forgetful, I'm sure I wouldn't work much past 20012.

Quick bunch here this morning.

Good to hear your doing well Rich.
