Moving a 300lb hunk of man flesh at 80 miles an hour daily is hard on tires.

I suppose, especially if you're on the throttle all the time!

Russwood...... I'm scared.
I'm thinking of going back to a batwing, and not just buying an aftermarket fairing, back to an Ultra.
Historically there is a direct correlation between these thoughts, and some form of action eventually being taken on my part. Impulsive is typically my middle name.
You are very wise in these matters Jedi Master. I need enlightenment..........

Considering the area in which you live and the added comfort that the batwing fairing and lowers offer, I think it would be a good move on your part.

Love my Ultra.

So if you do, will you purchase an older one or go with the wet head?

What is it you miss young Skywalker? Is it the radio? The gauges? The substantial amount of crap all up in your face?

Check out Long Ride Shields, they have developed a fairing for the RK you should check out.

Do not be swayed by his minimalistic arguments Northwood. You owe that extra bit of comfort to yourself. You have earned the right to step up to the true geezer glide. It is where you truly belong.....

I must go and meditate on your question.
My quest for Long Ride only reveals windshields.
I shall return.

Large fluffy pillows and cloud like suspensions should not be an attraction Stan! Remember hot chicks dig Road Kings!
