The volume thing is pretty amazing, you can put a pan on the fire and fill it up with snow 5 times and watch it melt down to half a pan of water or so. Add a stone and call the neighbors.

Looks like the new kid has been busy. I wish him luck. I'm not mentoring him. It's a sink or swim system.

I'll take your word for it. Hope I never have to melt snow in a frying pan.

Snow to water ratio is amazing. Luckily we had shovels to melt snow if we had to to get water.
