TOAK-The Thread of All Knowledge-PeckerWoods IMC.
Mornin', Lou. The unusually warm weather here has some of the trees fooled but the next 8-10 days should take care of that.
Fixed it.
I used to smoke regularly and follow the brands and stuff, but I just fell away from it. The problem with cigar smoking is that it takes time, and generally time outside. Cold in the winter, mosquitoes in the summer, it's tough to just sit there.
That sounds good!

Morning Woodsmen. Weather lately is screwed up. Goes up and down faster than a $5 hooker.

Most of our hard freeze weather is gone. By march we are headed into spring. Mix of rain and sun has been perfect for the hay farmers. Still need more rain for the cattle though. I'll try to shoot a few pics of the farm show. Just hope we don't have to return early. The boy has been quiet rebellious the last few days.
Knock on wood for luck, at 61 I take no pills, every check up Doc tells me blood pressure is great, heart good, etc. Certainly no precautions I've taken. I do find I cannot work at the same pace I did a few years ago. I have instituted the '2 trash can rule'. I do yard work until I fill the curbside cans then stop.
I have to take BP meds, heartburn meds, and meds for the dibeatiss (Wilfred Brimly flashback) but fortunately am not on insulin as of yet. I do have to watch what I eat and try to stay away from the carbs (pasta, potatoes, etc.), hence very little alcohol consumption these days. Alcohol is like sugar on steroids to a guy like me.

Here we don't usually have sustainable fresh grass growth or put out mag blocks until the end of March and first part of April. A couple years ago we got a hard freeze the end of March that set us back almost 3 weeks. Had a lot of guys running out of hay that year.
Farming is some unpredictable stuff at times
Morning Woods, Woodettes, twigs and lurkers. Seems our esteemed HelenWoods date was a bust and she was not impressed with Mr. Milquetoast. She may have her heart set on more of a "bad boy".
WouldWood give our best to Gail, drive safe and take the laundry with you to drop off with the waitress!
