It wasn't my first ride but I did get a 1953 Oldsmobile from the neighbor ( for cutting his grass all summer ) ...It was H U G E ... 4 dr with enough room to haul everyone around ... and when you packed the trunk with people for the drive in ... the concession stand couldn't handle the overload.

...and you're right. The trunk was HUGE!!!!

Evening post-by. Gotta get up pretty early tomorrow and go drive posts. Only got about 20 and the terrain is good so shouldn't take long and then maybe a ride since it's going to be mid to upper 50's.

hmmmm...all these new cars being talked about. My 1st car was a 38 Buick. Straight 8 with 2 1bbl carbs. 3 on the floor with a factory shifter that was 3 feet high and a steering wheel so big around it would make a truck driver envious.
4 big wide doors and enuff space between the front and rear seat that you could hold square dance practice in there.
A tan mohair interior that included 2 jump seats that folded down from behind the front seats, opera lights on the rear door pillars and a genuine factory installed roller blind in the rear window.
She was a BEAUTY!!!!!

what part of poor sap aren't u getting lol..I just got up beings my drunk *** didn't go to sleep till noon..boy howdy..its raining and im still wearing some stupid dress just cuz I don't have it in me to look for something else..damn..i was post whoring like nobodys business..on the bright side ..I didn't chew my arm off lol
Also we no longer use the crude term "Post Whoring" as it has a negative connotation and have adopted "postabating" since it is much closer to what we're actually doing plus it is featured in Wikipedia.
