Why thank you SouthWood and the rest of the TOAKers!

I must report that tragedy struck one of our fellow motorcyclists this evening which will certainly cause a great loss to all of my neighbors and certainly cast ripples through the sport bike world.

A certain motorcyclist who lives in my neighborhood has a predilection for wheeling his sport bike up and down one of the four lane roads that bisect our neighborhood. Of course the local constabulary never seems to be in attendance during his one-man death defying stunt show but Karma was there today as he shelled his engine and his bike sat in a puddle of its own black lifeblood. Sometimes riding wheelies and driving the oil pickup of juice doesn't work out so well.

Sportsmansguide.com has some great deals on tents and camping stuff. More so if you join their club.

I got 75 bucks worth of Bass Pro gift cards to burn so I was looking there. Not the best selection though.

For a guy my size, that's one person diagonal sleeping. You gotta remember the manufacturers figger 24" per person. A 4 man tent will give you room for two and a place to stash some gear without putting it in contact with the sides which can cause water infiltration during rains.

Also a "tub-bottom" tent is the best. They won't leak even if you're in a puddle

Got a couple good pads already as the wife and I like to go camping a lot. Just need something smaller than the 6 person tent we use in the car. Was thinking about this one but can't bring myself to pay 90 bucks for a glorified bivy sack.
