LOL, yes, cars do take a bit of beating, but if you plug them in or park inside a garage, its not that bad. Concrete does heave, but they heave up here all year long. Heaters and furnaces...never notice them over working, but I could be used to it and depends on the insulation you have and how tight the house is. And watermainsj breaking, that usually only happens in the spring time here when the frost starts coming out of the ground. Very rare does it happen during the winter, but it does happen. There have been many times I had to go thaw out water lines to houses using a welder. Easy money to sit there and babysit.
Overall, the Albertan Winters are not for everyone. Just like being in 100F weather. I can't handle that, way too hot for this cool guy.
