TOAK-The Thread of All Knowledge-PeckerWoods IMC.
I was perusing the forums and looked at the last post in Mark's 'first time' thread. I was horrified to see he considered the thread nothing more than an experiment after so many shared both tender and touching moments with the group.

Yep, it was turning into a romance novel for the ages, the ladies of the forum would be touched for sure with tears streaming down their eyes from the delicate, sensitive, first time posts.
Morning Posterbators and assorted Postwhoremongers....
Not to be a buzz-kill but a short memorial to man's best friend today. Baron, or "Baron-Dawg" as I called him was my superb-nose hunting buddy, best friend and our last "kid" at home for 9.5 years. We said our good-byes yesterday. He was a little 75 lb powerhouse that lived with us in the house, and like most German Shorthairs could jump 6 feet straight up into the air when the hunting gear came out.
A victim of canine organ cancer he went fast but we didn't let him suffer.
What a great pooch and friend he was to Momma and I. Thanks All

NorthernWood, so sorry to learn of this. Lots of dog lovers here and it's never easy. I hope every time you think of your fur kid it brings a smile to your face and your heart.
