I would say your boys are gonna be all right...

Watching hockey and golf. Rode to work today. 25* when I left this morning, near 60* on the way home.
Listening to all the hand-wringing about the upheaval in Broncoland.
Besides good lookin food and waitresses, how's things in South Texas? Good room?

You can't go wrong staying at the Hilton. Everything is green, green down here. Little chilly to be riding wasn't it? I guess no one knows whether or not Manning is going to retire? Coaches gone etc etc. Man it's nice to not have that crap going on with the Wowboys.

I had a nice visit with the owners of this company today who are Mexican nationals but have work permits for the US. We talked about what precautions they have to take when they travel to their facility across the border and it is incredible. First of all the nice big car they drove me to lunch is not used. They have a hooptie with Mexican plates that they use to go to their other site in. Business suits? Forget it. Jeans and regular shirts are the norm. In all cases, below the radar is the call of the day. I was told that the cartels look for people like them to kidnap and hold for ransom. So next time you hear our Liar in Chief saying that there is not a problem on the border, you know better.

About my low limit on temp this morning.
Can they move their whole operation into the States?

No they have some large customers in Mexico and the duties and tariffs would be a killer if they did the processes in the US. Same situation if they did all their processes in Mexico. I found my low limit last year to be about 25 but I'd need some better gloves to do it consistently.

So, you're doing a source/site inspection on their operation, right? Aircraft stuff?
Found some brown leather/nylon insulated Wells Lamont gloves at Costco a few weeks ago, and this was the first ride with them in the cold. Worked ok. Fingertips were a little cold after my 10 mile commute.
