Wow Markwood. We gotta teach you the difference between sour mash and bourbon. Might take a few rounds
If you're looking for one.
Mark, at this very moment I am sampling the Evan Williams. I have poured 2 fingers on a silo and will keep you updated.

Good evening woods !! I see Northwood did a fly by ! Izzo has found an avatar that compliments his stature ! Somebody been sneaking around somebody's back door ! I always wondered about FBB in the Halloween and SOA threads ways back, then he rides a tow truck into the forest !!
I'm up for a lesson.
Bourbon is ALWAYS aged using a new white oak barrel. Gives a distinct palate to the sweetness that is bourbon. If it's aged in a barrel that's been used before, it's not bourbon.

My BIL gave mea book titled "The Art of Distilling Whiskey and Other Spirits" quite interesting and go's into detail regarding the various spirits, quite educational !
I believe Oscar Mayer Wieners uses that same criteria. So far, so good, the Evan Williams over ice and it ain't bad.
