Stephanie from South Africa via Honolulu and me on the 8th tee of the Oasis Course at The Phoenician. That's Camelback Mountain in the background.
Fun lady with a great sense of humor.

Looks like a nice course. Gotta feel good to wear short sleeves in January.

Camelback Mountain from the 8th tee of the Oasis Course. The Canyon Course which we played first, runs along the base.

Gorgeous weather, upper 60s, low 70s.
Beautiful layout. Very techinical. Target golf at its best. (worst?)

Thank God I never stumbled on a golf course.

I like to compete. Being a bowhunter, I discovered the joy of competing in 3D Archery, where you shoot life like targets. Open class equipment would blow your mind, with scopes, lenses, etc. I have 2 bows I used in competition, different bows for hunting.

I've shot with some great archers, and competed on both the State level and the National level. Shot all over the United States, and a couple of years ago came within one point of being the State Champion here in TX.

I don't just like to play, I like to play well and win, so thank God I never stumbled onto a golf course....

Think of the concrete deals you could set in stone over 19 holes!

Trying to get my daughter into shooting bows. Got her a cheap little compound youth bow. I think Ive got pretty lucky so far in not shooting myself in the foot with it.

That's my problem! I want to win, not worry about concrete!

If I was into golf I wouldn't give up until I felt I was good, and that feeling would probably never come. Funny thing, when typing golf, I kept hitting the "d" that is next to the "f", typing gold instead, which probably isn't far from the truth!!
