TOAK-The Thread of All Knowledge-PeckerWoods IMC.
Feel for everone east of me here in Denver, You're really getting nailed by the cold. We got touched by the western flank of it yesterday. Should be a great day to fly.
MI is where I learned to drive in winter. People here freak out at 3" and will clean out the markets in advance of it. Where I live, 4WD is not an option in times of snow.
Yeah I can't seem to find one I'm happy with. Kinda like this one, for now...
Sounded like you guys were having a lot of fun
Yes sir Mick 67 , you hit the daily double.
These kind of temps seldom last long around here. Back into to the 30's by the weekend.
"How much did you wager, Mick? Oh, only 7 dollars? That brings your total to 8 dollars and Mark remains our reigning Champ."
You do realize, Mark, you never took the answer on air or online unless I completely missed it....and I was listening intently, even heard the clink of beer bottles and an 'F' bomb.

Too much fun by the way my head feels, it got really busy yesterday afternoon and I had nothing prepared so I bought a 12 pack of New Belgium porter and James and I winged it. Guess it turned out all right.
Welcome back, Prodigal Son. This thread is your lighthouse, keep your eyes toward the shore.

I particularly enjoyed your second guest talking about machining in the old days and how tolerances were 'good enough' in spite of the slapping sound. Sounds like one of those guys who discovered bikes early and could probably take one apart and rebuild while blindfolded.
