Merry Christmas! Sounds like a hoot!

Don't let the empty nest get you folks down brother. You could be dealing with my bunch LOL
Thanks for the invite. Over the years I have discovered most families contain the same relatives as all others. I'm working on a scheme to allow only the nubile females from 18-40 to attend all future family get togethers. I am in the process of running that one by the Mrs.....for some odd reason she thinks that's a really bad idea.

I sympathize completely. Wife likes to head down toward Gatlinburg TN shortly after the holidays. I'm so sick of it I could puke mistletoe, but away we shall go...

Merry Christmas to you to Tracy. There might even be some alcohol involved?

We kind of do the dysfunctional family shuffle this time of year. I have 3 half-sisters and 1 half brother on my father's side and 2 half sisters and 1 half-brother on my mother's side.

My grand parents raised me so I don't exactly fit in anywhere having grown up away from all of them.

Wife's folks are pretty much all gone except for an aunt and uncle who live near Cincinnati OH.

We should start a "Christmas with the Woods" in (insert warm destination) tradition

Well it looks like some of the tribe is starting to stir and that's my cue to fix breakfast!

Have a great day folks. BBL

When the kids were small and we lived in So Cal we'd leave every Christmas morning and drive to the Grand Canyon. Stayed for a week at the El Tovar lodge on the rim. Grand Canyon is incredible in the winter and the El Tovar has the best hot buttered rum in existence.

A TOAK bonus
