My friends worked the early 80's boom ! two years and bust ! I watched most of Western ND dry up in the 90's and close ! It's always gonna be a boom or bust economy outside of agriculture ! Just as long as they do not ruin the water and surface the ranchers and farmers should be OK !

I've got a friend in ND who was driving his tractor home on I-94 which is legal in ND and was hit by a semi. The cab and floor separated from the tractor and was thrown 15-20' from the frame ! The semi was totaled and miraculously no one was seriously hurt ! I watched the tractor wreck video along with the bored farmer !!

If so, I am honored to be considered one of the "wood". You got to watch out for us folks on the tractors in the rural areas. Glad the guy was OK!

LOL My first name is Tracy. I worked with an old fellow for a couple years who persisted in calling me Terry. After correcting him a couple times, I just rolled with it and started answering to it. It didn't really matter to me. I've been called a LOT worse than that before and since then too.

I'm more "into" aviation. Mostly the Warbird stuff. Nope, I don't fly, unfortunately. Gotta win the lottery for that.
