I have to upgrade, I have a chair, on a hill. It's not bad though it's only a half mile walk down the trail to my Uncles house. It can be dangerous though as we were discussing earlier about falling asleep. If I fall asleep and fall forward I'm fine if I fall backward I run the risk of rolling off the edge and into the gravel pit. But heh it's hunting it should be a little dangerous.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, I'll just spend my winters down there, they can forward my calls to Mississippi.

The bush is so thick up here we sit over bait piles of apples, carrots, beets etc. You can't move around, some folks hunt power lines in their areas but I've got a open area about 75 yrds away from the blind so I just sit and wait in comfort !

Mississippi would be damn nice during the winter !! I spent a couple of months down there after Katrina overseeing contracts and it sure was nice and a very pretty area even with the damage !

My stand is about 14' high, 4 walls about 36" tall so I can see over them sitting in a chair, but no roof. It is very, very comfortable - except that it's in the open, so wind and weather get me. In the past several years, I haven't gotten all that cold, but this past winter just got to me. So I'm hoping my sleeping bag works much like those expensive Heater Body Suits.

Falling asleep while tracking animals in the wild appears to be very dangerous
