Had a leisurely ride through the countryside and made a detour to the Damn Site Inn for a refreshment.

 

He may not be a bar hopper or biler or he could be from the Soo and or down near da bridge ! Did he say what part of da UP ?? If you have riden around the Keweenaw you can't hardly miss it !!

Had a GREAT weekend!! Rode and drank with friends, and rain or not, that's really all that matters...

oh yea, almost forgot! Had ONE HELL OF A GOOD fried oyster po boy sammich at ******* Duck Diner in Monroe. As religious as those Duck boys are, I was surprised they sold beer at ******* diner, but they do. Left the camera in the saddlebag, so no pic of the sammich, but son, it was piled high with fried oysters!!

 

I went over to the new member section and welcomed him ! He is from the Soo so that's a good 200 mile ride ! I offered him a beer if he gets over here for fall colors !! That's what esteemed members do hey !!

 

Forgot to mention, and it's kinda embarrassing, but that miserable trip in the rain and fog across the Kiamichi Mountains on the byway, there was no traffic, but I did pass 2 other motorcyclist. Both on Gold Wings.
