It's heaven here. Seriously. We live down in a valley where the Snake and Clearwater rivers converge, and the golf courses are open all year long. This part of Idaho has been known as "The Banana Belt" for decades. Hard to believe, but sometimes you can go through an entire winter and never touch a snow shovel. Not what most folks would think about when you think Idaho winters.
