Weld-out done today!



Burned 7 lb of 7018 HR. Took me a few inches before I got the hang of it. Sure looks ugly till you chip the slag. Got some welding slag body art today.

what you burning? 1/4? 3/16?

Me too! Rather here it run. Ill do a vid but it wont sound the same as in person. Biggest motor ive ever seen or herd was a 113"

You should see the welder I use. Old 1960's Soft arc sa200.

Its what I had in the rod stove. Had to make 5 passes. Im no welder. You cant be good at everything.

Didnt have enough ***** to do a vertical cover pass. Did it on 1 weld and didnt look good. This is way over built as it is.

Alway been a barely get by and have no debt kinda guy. Bugs me to no end to have 3/4 of this bill on the plastic. Will take till next summer to pay it off.
