Can't wait till about 3 today, shot home quit, hook up the camper be out at the lake by 4-4:30 set up, food on the grill and cold beer in hand by 5. Fireball around 7-8 maybe a few pulls before hand.

Of course this is all how I have it planned in my head. What really will happen is the guys will wander in to the shop about 4-5. I get the camper hooked up kids will be screaming are we there yet, son complaining his is hungry or board and why are we not at the lake. So to be safe beers and grill by 6.

Dam boy - if anyone needs a shot or 2, I think it's you...Ever think about just staying at work, it sounds more tranquil than going home

All this talk about Fridays.
I don't understand.
Since I retired in January, my week is 6 Saturdays, and one Sunday.
Grilling? I grilled steaks yesterday, along with burgers to munch on today.
What some of you refer to as "During the week" is what I have found as the best days to ride.
In an answer to a friend's question, I told Him that when I retired I would pester everybody I could.
Is it working?
Retirees RULE!

This post is representative of why working dogs hate retired old fogeys.

You don't want to **** off old retirees.
We might come by and see you just to run you late for work!
Then, we will laugh about it as we hang out at the "Dead Pecker Bench".

Someone else posted this, but I thought it was great for my retirement:

"Five days a week I do nothing - Saturday and Sunday I rest!"

And yeah, don't **** off the retired guys. We'll be the one in front of you doing 20 in a 35 when you'll trying to get to work....
