I think what's worse is that he is a Southern Democrat, who were the people that are defined in your excerpt. You can always find the pejorative definition. What's interesting to note is that no where in his definition does it make claims of racism, I saw only references to poor, uneducated, southern whites. How did he get from poor white trash to racist?
