Hmmmm. I think more to do with timing than size. One time I tried to hurry through the proper play sequence to the dismay of my play partners. Inevitably, I made a bad play and ended up with dirt on my clubs. Made me never want to play that game again !!!
Or that particular course anyway.....
Yes I myself have duffed a shot or two and taken a divot from a nicely prepared course. It seems that some courses are rather unforgiving of the errant shot.

Ya....tell me about it !!
And then there's my ex....who could take a fun playful game and turn it into the devils, house of horrors, but she learned from the best....my ex mother-in-law. By the way.....she couldn't golf worth a damn either.

Some course prove much more difficult to read and play. Some are cursed with a howling wind that forces the player to shorten his stroke and play safe shots while other courses are wide open and inviting but will penalize heavily of you stray from the proper line.

New chain after a couple hundred miles. A chain that has 500 plus miles on it, once a year, even then it usually don't need adjusting but it doesn't hurt to check
Mark, what were you saying about a ball and chain.......
Man, wish I was going out there this year. Working a tradeshow instead. :-(
