Drove the '99 Sporty to work today. 55 miles one way. Ha. Far as I care to go on the 'ol rigid mount. Get that good ol tingling sensation in hands and feet.
Cue TwiZted......

Shotgun *******
2808 W Main St, Rapid City, SD 57702
(605) 341-7253

That might be a good thang !

www.firehousebrewing.com

Mark YELP is giving the Fire House a lot of mixed reviews from travelers out of state ! I guess if I was from Chicago and had a 100 restaurants to chose from I could see being critical, but it is Rapid City and it was good when I was there but its been a few years !

I don't know what it is but I can't get myself to go back to Sturgis... I've been half a dozen times in 40 years and it's just not the same anymore...

A lot more entertainment now than there was 25 years ago but I feel like the rally has lost it way.... It used to be about that the races and sadly most people that go today don't even know there are daily races, damn good races too!!

Off road, hill climbs, drag, flat track...

Gonna be tingling and warm on way home, gonna be a scorcher today here.

Severe thunderboomies later, gonna get a bit of riding in before they come.

My 72 XLCH was rigid, I doubt I'd enjoy 55 miles on it now.

Don't get me wrong, if you've never been it's a must for anyone with a love of Harley Davidson.
Just get off your ***'s and go to the damn races!!!! The drags are off the hook.
I've been to the drags as a spectator, I've raced Sturgis myself and I've even won there. It's a total kick in the ***.

AHDRA is gone now and so is all of the West Coast HD racing. Those of us with bikes and a couple hundred grand either went to NHRA or closed shop.
I don't have the money to compete with the NHRA guys and I sure don't know anyone capable of building a bike that can keep up with the ricers.
Doug Hines is about the only one to pull this off with any success.
