Same here. Was camping in the mountains in Southern California, met a girl from the campsite next door....not sure to this day which was more memorable....crap, after all these years I still remember both their names.

Ive seen a few large rockets launched around here and was star gazing to see the colombia dock with the space station.

 

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and that Collins fella.... yup... I remember them... have the coins in the dining room cupboard with them stamped in history...
