76* and 91% humidity. Walk and sweat, stand still and sweat, look outside and sweat.

Thinking I might have to get a new battery for the ElectraGlide before heading out on the big cruise. The current one is 6 years old and the original equipment. It still starts the bike, but I would not care to have it die in North Dakota, if'n ya know what I mean.

My 20 sumptin year old belt drive MTD rider would run off and leave my newer hydro mower when it was running. New one does the job, but the old one actually did a better job and was easier to drive. I've used the next door neighbor's hydro rider, same brand as mine but about 10 years older, and it's way easier to use. Progress...

American companies wanna get every penny they can before they introduce better products. Lotta "new" stuf we have today coulda been done better in the 90's.

I read that the first high speed rails laid in Europe used an American made track layer that laid, straightened, and end welded continuous track from a big roll, like a giant wire spool. Saw a picture of it, neat concept. We still don't have high speed rails here. Boeing tested a maglev system that could beat a jet airliner; saw pics of that several years ago. Won't happen in my lifetime.
