Pretty much the whole night was boom, boom, boom, with several minutes of a roar on the roof, few minutes of quiet, roar on the roof... it's kinda soaked out there now. Even had water running down the wall from the basement windows, lucky they're right by the floor drain, nuttin got wet, just more streaks on the concrete block wall. I'm gonna have 176,000 new weeds in a couple days. Sure glad it's warm enuf for the ac to run occasionally, would get awful humid in here otherwise. Hmm, haven't heard a single Harley go by yet today. Don't think mine is gonna go play in the rain, either.

 

Went to a BBQ yesterday evening and had the best ribs I have ever eaten. Hands down the best. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! Did I mention the ribs were good?

 

Rained a bunch in the city yesterday, even had a long rain delay in the Bball game, but nary a drop down our way.

I went for a very enjoyable rideabout after finishing my masonry w#rk. That was just what the doctor ordered. In addition, not one person attempted to run over me!

 

Have a nice Sunday. Time to try to act useful at something.

Checkin in.... In for the week.......... Shewwwww, gotta go to wurk tomorrow to rest. A, 4 day party seems to take a toll on me anymore. Getting old sucks!

 

About 3/4 hr in the yard between downpours, and I felt like I'd been in one, humidity must be in high 90's, hard to get a full breath out there. Chopped some tree limbs and cleared out some old vines in the auxiliary gardens and I wus pooped. Nuttin a cold beer couldn't fix. Fish, baked potato and corn onna cob tonight. GF cooking, gonna be baked; I don't use the oven in summer, but she wants to about every day when she's here. I think this has been one of the wettest springs I've had here. Or maybe it's just normal, spring's always been wet here.
