I'm finally finishing my hack carpet job in the dungeon, taping seems. Not my idea of a good time, but it has to be done.
I have been waiting for two days in a row with no chance of rain. I have everything together to make my stone mailbox column but want a couple of days to let the mortar set up well.

Sunny, dry, bit warm. Planted more 'maters this morning, kinda hard on the back, only do about a dozen then something else for a while to get the kinks out. Got thousands of little trees sprouting, bad as weeds. Hoe em like weeds, too.
Sounds like folks in TN get along well with their bikers. Cops here seem to leave Harley riders alone, long as they don't get stupid, but from what I've seen, they sure go after crotch rockets. Probly cause they act stupid way more often...
My old grudge door fell apart and was hanging about six inches from the Bonneville a few years ago, cuddn't get the car out, cuddn't lift the heavy fiber board door panels by myself. Called the SIL, good kid, came right over, got the door partially disassembled, got the car out, screwed the door panels to the frame temporarily. Checked around, wus cheaper to have a door company install one than buy one and do it myself. Nice lightweight insulated metal one, took the guy a couple hours to install all by himself. Got coil springs above the door, took some friends a couple hours to change a set few years back, took this guy about 15 minutes.
Darn, time to go already, gotta get cleaned up and meet a vet buddy for lunch. Not at the Legion, though, they got good food prices, but not the good food. Beer's ok there though...
