well lawn is cut............sippin' some wine, having some quiet time,....It's amazing, the hustle an bustle to get to a weekend holiday, then the toil an such to get the weekend going, followed by the cleanup. Thank God I have a night shift gig.....it affords me this time to myself and mebbe a dawg or two.

 

Probably getting that carb cleaned out. Back in the carb days, the car the little old lady only drove on Sundays would run like crap when you tried to get on it, but a good high speed run down the highway would get em going better.

 

Nuttin to be sorry about, we do what we have to do if we're worth anything in those situations. Those folks that tear themselves up are lucky there are folks like you that'll do what it takes to rescue them. Sure glad we didn't have to worry about aids back then, got messy sometimes. I didn't do many, have a lot of respect for the ones that did and do as a primary job.

One trick I lerned on ol carbs is with the air cleaner off, rev the crap out of it and slam your hand over the carb. Seemed to suck all the crap out of the jets. Done it many times.

Injectors getting cleaned.......throttle bodies will get their throats cleaned this fall.......... my bimmer is fuel injected 'dem germans didn't mess around..The vulcan has a carb.......
