I already told the neighbor I wouldn't pay over 2 k for it..........2 k is a tad over trade in value....4300 is pie in the sky money.

Home. Traffic going (van, kinda loaded), light, only slowed below speed limit passing Madison, Wisconsin. Gas mileage way better with the new oxy sensor, it was worth it.
Let me tell you about all the interesting things to see between Minnyapolis and about an hour south of Chicago -
Big tractors.
Herd of pinto ponys.
Buncha cows.
That dint take long....
Got to the farm, about an hour later started mowing mebbe an acre - 60" J Deere zero turn, man that's a green stuf cutter! Got to spend the weekend with a couple Aftgan vets, swapping tales, helped fix a big planter (kind that plants seeds a bucha acres an hour), big outdoor party Saturday night with more farm food than I could eat.
Way back, never got slowed down. Passed 196,214 cars and 16,918 trucks parked from the Illinois border to several miles west of Madison, guess a few Chicagoans went to the Dells. Think I had the directions purty good on this trip, had the big traffic in the other direction both times.
Lotta bikes - Harleys musta been at least 9 out of 10. Till Minnysota, passed two groups of Wings and a Beemer, screwed the Minnysota average.
Abandoned the Boring way and took the scenic route back up through Minny, bit slower, way more enjoyable.
Stopped at Slippery's on the Mississippi at Wabasha, where they were playing Grumpy Old Men on the TV for the 6 millionth and some times. The 10,000 video tapes wore out and now it's off dvd. Hadda buncha Harleys, all BT's and one trike, and 3 tri-Wings, never been there without bikes in the lot. No, it don't look like the one in the movies, they only used the name, don't know why, this one looks better inside, and bigger.
Winding along the hills and twisties beside the river, passing lotsa Harleys, felt frustrated in the van, then hit the rain, and it wasn't so bad.
gotta new Harley patch, pitcher later, I wanna cold beer, and then some more. Mebbe I'll catchup all them pages the last few days later. Hope y'all hadda good one.
